This course is approved by the New Jersey Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners for 45 hours. Students will be introduced to the basic radiologic principles of intraoral and extraoral imaging of the dentoalveolar structures, as the radiographic examination plays an integral role in the diagnostic process in dentistry in conjunction with the clinical examination. The dental assistant must be proficient with intraoral and extraoral techniques to fulfill their roles as dental professionals

This course is for individuals currently employed by a dental office due to the required clinical portion of the course. If you have a dental office that would be willing to have you come in and do a clinical portion that would be an exception.
