This comprehensive four-session course guides aspiring and current entrepreneurs through the essential steps of launching and growing a business with confidence and purpose. Each session builds upon the last, beginning with developing a strong entrepreneurial mindset and ending with practical go-to-market strategies for real-world success.

Session 1: The Entrepreneurial Mindset — Vision, Mission & Alignment
Students will begin shaping their vision and mission while evaluating whether their venture is a side-business or a
long-term transition. AI tools and guided one-on-one support will help students clarify direction. This session will begin
to build toward the start of a working draft of a simple business plan.

Session 2: Nailing Your Niche — Ideal Customer, Core Value & Avatar Creation
Students will identify their ideal customer, define value, and create detailed customer avatars. Market pain points and
early validation methods will be explored using AI-assisted research. These insights become the backbone of the early
business plan draft and help students think proactively about who they serve and why.

Session 3: Go-to-Market Essentials — Launch Strategy, Promotion & Next Steps
Students will outline early launch priorities, branding vs. marketing vs. sales, and the first 60-90-day strategy. AI tools
will support simple content ideas, messaging, and next-step planning. Students will leave with a workable next-steps
roadmap.

Session 4: Structuring Your Venture — Naming, & the Basic Plan
Students will review best practices for naming a business, understand simple structure options, and outline the early
steps of registration. We will use AI to help students map out the structural decisions most relevant to their situation.
The focus is on clarity.

This is a live-online Zoom course. The Zoom link will be emailed to students prior to the first session.
Students completing all four sessions will receive a RCSJ professional development certificate of achievement.
